Astloch

Astloch is a display type family with two weights, regular 400 and bold 700, both in normal style and Latin coverage. Its narrow format and limited weight range suggest a focused, expressive voice rather than broad text-setting utility. That makes Astloch well suited to short headlines, labels, logos, and other places where a distinctive typographic presence matters more than long reading comfort. With only two weights, it offers straightforward hierarchy while keeping layouts visually tight and controlled.
Use Astloch when you want a compact display face that can carry a title without overwhelming the composition. It works well in posters, editorial headers, branding, and web hero text, especially where space is limited and a strong vertical rhythm helps the design feel intentional. Pair it with a calmer, highly readable sans or serif for supporting copy so Astloch can remain the accent. The two weights make it easy to create emphasis without introducing extra styling complexity.
